Tuition

At enrollment, parents must sign the tuition & payment policy form and pay a $25 non-refundable registration fee, one week’s tuition in advance, and a $160 supply fee per child. Tuition is due every Wednesday; late payments incur a $10 fee. Tuition is billed weekly, but parents may opt for monthly payments by informing management. Payments must be made by Wednesday of the week prior to attendance.


Note: Weekly Tuition is required if your child attends Synapse {STEM} Education programs.

  • Tutorial Programs-Registration Fee (non-refundable) $25

  • 2-day program $210 week

  • 3-day program $235 week

  • 5-day program $260 week

  • Supply Fee (non-refundable) $160 per child

  • Additional Tutorial Program Day $110 per child

  • Teacher/Student Workday $110 per child includes lunch

  • School Holiday Breaks - 8am-6pm $435 week

Online Processing fee of 3% will be applied

Discounts

Families enrolling two or more siblings in a 3 or 5-day program will receive a $10 weekly discount. Alternatively, a $10 discount applies if tuition is paid monthly. However, only one discount can be applied per enrollment.

No Refunds/Cancellation

Tuition at Synapse {STEM} Education is non-refundable and remains due regardless of student absences, illness, school closures, holidays, withdrawal, inclement weather or dismissal. Tuition is calculated weekly and is not prorated for sessions that fall on holidays. Families remain responsible for tuition payments even if their child does not attend, except during Spring Break, Thanksgiving Break, and Winter Break. Due to limited space, schedule changes or day swaps cannot be accommodated.

Penalty Charges

A re-Enrollment fee of $25 is charged when a child withdraws from the programs for more than two weeks and Re-Enrolled at a given time within the same year.  If the parent wishes to continue services, and if there is a space in the program, the $25 Re-Enrollment will be requested upon entering the program.

A $10 late payment fee will be applied to delinquent accounts each Thursday. If tuition remains unpaid for two weeks or more, Synapse {STEM} Education reserves the right to discontinue services.

Late Pick Up Fees will be charged if a child is picked up after session hours or center operating hours.  We are open at Synapse {STEM} Education from 3:00pm – 6:00pm, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday; 2:00pm – 6:00pm on Wednesday. If you pick up your child after 6:00pm, a fee of $15 will be assessed for every 10 minutes.

Delinquent Accounts

If accounts are two weeks or more delinquent, the Director has the right to discontinue services. All unpaid accounts will be turned over to a collection agency.  Parents will be notified prior to this procedure.  Any balances left unsettled will be sent to Collections after 30 days.

Withdrawal Policy

Parents choosing to withdraw their child from the program must provide a two-week notice (business days). Tuition remains due during this period. Failure to provide notice will result in a charge for two weeks at the normal tuition rate.

Pay Online

Tuition and fees are processed online through QuickBooks, a secure payment platform. Payments will be assessed every Wednesday upon completion of the Credit Card Authorization Form. Transactions will be processed by Mobilee Solutions LLC dba Synapse {STEM} Education, with a 3% online processing fee applied.cy

Sick and Medication Policy

Purpose of This Policy

To maintain a healthy environment for all children and staff, we ask families to follow the guidelines

below when determining whether a child is well enough to attend our program. These policies help

prevent the spread of illness and ensure every child receives proper care.

When to Keep Your Child Home

Please keep your child home if they have any of the following:

• Fever of 100.4°F or higher within the past 24 hours

• Vomiting or diarrhea within the past 24 hours

• Persistent cough, difficulty breathing, or wheezing

• Rash that is unexplained or possibly contagious

• Eye discharge, redness, or suspected conjunctivitis

• Sore throat with fever or swollen glands

• Lethargy, unusual irritability, or inability to participate in normal activities

• Any contagious illness diagnosed by a healthcare provider (e.g., strep throat, flu,

COVID-19, RSV, hand-foot-mouth disease)

Children must be symptom-free without medication for at least 24 hours before returning.

Return-to-Care Requirements

A child may return to the center when:

• They have been fever-free for 24 hours without fever-reducing medication

• They have not vomited or had diarrhea for 24 hours

• Symptoms have improved and the child can comfortably participate in daily activities

• Any required doctor’s note or clearance has been provided (if applicable)

• For certain contagious illnesses, a minimum exclusion period may apply based on health

department guidelinesMedication Policy: Synapse {STEM} Education personnel are not licensed nurses or doctors; we do not administer any medication to

children attending our programs; please plan with your child to take medications prior to attending a session under the supervision of a

parent or guardian.


Medication Policy

• Our center does not administer any medication under any circumstances.

• In the event of a known allergic reaction, staff will administer the child’s Epi-Pen if

one has been provided by the family and is clearly labeled.

• Families must ensure that any Epi-Pen kept at the center is up-to-date, unexpired,

and accompanied by the appropriate medical action plan.

Illness & Outbreak Notification

• If there is an outbreak of any contagious illness within the center, we will notify all parents

immediately by both phone and email.

• Notifications will include the type of illness, the date of exposure, and any recommended next

steps based on current health guidelines.

• Our goal is to keep families informed quickly so they can take appropriate precautions.
